Martin finished his studies at the University of Economics, Faculty of Economic Informatics in Bratislava. He has been working in MATADOR since 1995, starting his career at Cost Calculation department, later becoming Director of Budget and Cost Calculation Department. In 2006 he became the Director of MATADOR Industries in Dubnica nad Váhom. Since 2012 he has been leading MATADOR HOLDING as a Director-General of the company.

Martin is a partner at PwC Slovakia. He works in Consulting with primary focus on the public sector. He leads projects in the field of organizational performance improvement, process optimization and automation and modernization of organizations and their services. He has developed a team of consultants and his expertise has strengthened public sector consultancy at PwC in CEE. He worked for 11 years for the Ministry of Economy and spent 6 years as a diplomat leading the Commercial Section at the Slovak Embassy in Vienna and at the Slovak Consulate General in Munich. He’s got 20 years of experience managing people, teams and large projects.

FILIP HLUBCKÝ
Chairman of the Board and General Director, Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko
Filip is experienced manager, having worked on several positions in advocacy, banking sector and railway transport. He has been focusing on acquisitions and merges of important companies on the Slovak market, providing legal counselling services within special projects. Later, he served 9 years as a director of legal department at the Slovak national freight operator ZSSK CARGO. Since June 2016 Mr. Hlubocky holds the CEO position at Zeleznicna spolocnost Slovensko (ZSSK) - Slovak national passenger railway carrier. He graduated at the Faculty of Law at the Comenius University in Bratislava as well as at the University of Cambridge.

Dr. JOHN CURRAN

Dr. John Curran is executive coach and Business Anthropologist at JC & Associates, a cultural strategy consultancy in London. As one of the pioneers of Business Anthropology, he specialises in understanding culture & human behaviour in order to improve the productivity of organisations and how they connect to their consumers, clients and market trends. He regularly gives key note talks on why culture is central to building successful organisational cultures and brands. He holds a PhD in Social Anthropology and is a visiting lecturer at Cass Business School in Marketing, a visiting scholar at the Royal College of Art, and is a former TEDx speaker and a fellow at the Royal Society of Arts. Some of his clients include Coca Cola, J&J, Knauf Insulation, Marks & Spencer’s and Crystal Palace Football. His views regularly appear in the Financial Times.

MAREK KIŠ-BANDI
General Manager, Hilti Slovakia
Marek has worked for Hilti since 1995 when he started his career as a sales assistant in a store. Later he became business consultant. He gained precious insights from direct sales where he worked until 2006 dealing with various types of customers from SMEs to large construction companies. From 2006 he led business teams and from 2010 he was in charge of the whole business as the Business Director for Slovakia. Marek was part of the team when a separate organisation Hilti Slovakia was formed. He’s been the General Manager since 2016. Hilti SR was awarded the award Best Employer of the SR several times and employee engagement levels are very high. During Marek’s management Hilti SR produced several great leaders who have been successful both at the Slovak Hilti and abroad.

Peter has been the CEO of Slovenská pošta since summer last year and his Strategy Post 2020 delivered several modern and effective solutions to both customers and employees alike. Peter joined the management team of Slovenská pošta after first having worked at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Investments and E-Government, where his role was Director for the E-Government Strategy and International Relations. He also has many years of experience from the telecom market, he has been working for years for Slovak Telekom and for Swan Mobile. Before, he worked for several companies such as ATLAS SK, or Dial Telecom.

Branislav leads LEAF, a non-profit organization focusing on the development of young individuals with the potential to grow into shapers of Slovakia who will demonstrate ethics, excellence, entrepreneurial leadership and civic engagement; regardless of their socio-economic background. Formerly a partner at McKinsey & Company, Braňo has experience from several continents in improving corporate performance, building new businesses and improving education. He holds an MBA degree from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.

Tatiana owns a successful travel agent business Pelikan.sk that for 15 years has been the market leader in Slovakia and has expanded to 6 other European countries. In 2018, the turnover of Pelikan.sk reached nearly 90 million Euros and the number of employees was nearly 200. In 2006 Tatiana was awarded first place in the category Starting Entrepreneur in a competition organized by the National Agency for the Development of SMEs. In 2009 she was awarded the title Starting Entrepreneur in a competition organized by Ernst & Young. Tatiana also owns lingerie e-shops Saxana.sk and shoe and accessories e-shops Topankovo.sk that have successfully expanded to the Czech Republic and Hungary.
